There’ll be more looking back and looking ahead coming soon, but for now: Happy New Year, people.
I was reminded of this collaboration via Femi and the Foundation on Bluesky this morning, and it captures a lot of what I want the current incarnation of HD to be about: folks coming together to make art and culture, out of a shared love for it. For a brief moment in 2020 we had a window into a world where this is what the future looked like; I wanna figure out what allowed that to happen, and find out together how to make that future a reality.
