- Kaiyodo’s official Wonder Festival 2007 Summer site is now online, including information on the items available in this iteration’s Wonder Showcase (a BURNING SPIRIT collaboration between Kaiyodo and a selection of individual sculptors who the company feels are worth showcasing regardless of popularity) and the lineup of uber BOME kits for sale at the Kaiyodo booth (Shiranui Mai, Ryomou Shimei, Kanu Unchou, Chouun Shiryou).
In past years Kaiyodo has released limited edition figures of their Wanda and Reset mascot characters to commemorate the event, but it seems that there are no plans for them this time around.

- Toys Planning will have a Unisonshift collection of trading figures for sale at Wanfesu and Comiket 72, with a limited edition Itou Zatsuon-sensei (Itou Noiji‘s pen name) mascot figure available only at the two events.

- Musashiya will have Karen, Euphemia, and C.C. kits available at the event (from Code Geass, of course).
- According to this post on the official Goodsmile blog, Max Factory will be unveiling their Haruhi series Tsuruya-san PVC at the event. Tanoshimi da wa~ I wonder how it will stack up against Alter’s recently announced offering…

- Orchid Seed has color images online of the Mogudan [ERO] Comic Unreal cover illustration “Feane” resin kit they’ll be selling at the event. We scooped this a week or so ago, but it’s still great news… here’s hoping for a PVC version. :3

- Amie Gran has updated their event page with Wanfesu details, with further information available at Amie Taishou’s personal site. The Wakatsuki Aoi kit from Haimura Kiyotaka illustrated novel Maid Deka is looking pretty sweet…
- Konami has announced on the official Busou Shinki figure page that the sixth round of Busou Shinki figures will be unveiled and on display at Wanfesu.
- Goods maker Cospa has announced that they’re getting into the figure business with a brand dubbed Resinya, which will make its debut at Wonder Festival with the display of its first two figures: Da Capo’s Kotori and Kanon’s Nayuki.

- Professional garage kit circle T’s System continues their tradition of presenting a Wanfesu limited PVC figure at the event, this time representing with a Mitsumi Misato designed maid character dubbed “Cocoa-chan”.
- Aizu has unveiled their lineup for the event, including kits of Silene (Devilman), Hurricane Honey (Cutie Honey), and Iroha (Samurai Spirits).
- K-Books will be presenting two original garage kits at the event, one designed by Izumi Tsubasu and one by Sakurazawa Izumi.
- Nitro+ is providing an exclusive opportunity to play Nitro+ Royale at the event. This 2D fighter will be available for purchase at Comiket 72 as part of the Nitro+ goods set, but those who bring the ticket from the September issue of PUSH magazine or buy something from the Wanfesu Nitro+ booth will be able to play the game in advance.

And that’s a wrap! Any further industry news will probably appear in individual posts unless there’s enough of it to warrant another omnibus update like this. Five days and counting…
I’m loving the Feane kit- all I have to say is-
“I like big buts and I can not lie”
“You other brothas can’t deny”
“When a girl walks in with an itty bitty waist and a round thang in your face”
“YOU GET SPRUNG!!”
:p
I wish they’d make these ‘limited edition’ figures internationally available…as for the rest, I’m not that bothered as yet. If they start showing some real promising PVC figures soon, then it’ll be worth worrying about…
