Personally, I wouldn’t mind if they released another game in the Fate/Tsukihime/Kara no Kyoukai universe. It’s a labor of love, and it shows. It’s their Forgotten Realms–granted, it’s also their only setting. But hey, as I said, labor of love and all that jazz.
With as much effort as Nasu Kinoko’s put into creating the universe, I’d like to think they’d keep coming back to it, but I agree that moving away from the Fate series would be a good direction to go. The fan wet-dreams of a Tsukihime remake on the KAG3 engine or Tsukihime 2 would be nice, but I’m not holding my breath.
Then again, it’s been a while since there’s been any new content from Type-Moon proper (Realta Nua and Fate/Zero, sure but TM hasn’t had to do much work with those), so if Kinoko hasn’t wiped himself out with DDD, here’s hoping they have something in the pipeline.
Yeah, I don’t necessarily want to see them abandon the universe entirely – if we view Type Moon as the vehicle for a single auteur (Kinoko) I don’t think it’s a bad thing for him to keep spinning off stories that are tied together by the cosmology into which he’s already invested so much development effort. That said, I hope their next game doesn’t have “Fate” in the title… they need a new cast of characters for fans to melt into moe goo over.
I’ve got myself two copies of Realta Nua Extra Edition.. One with Saber Cushion.. But need to wait for 1 week to receive it.. darn it

I dont think TYPE MOON is resting on their laurels, but they are milking the franchise as long as they can….*EVANGELION** cough**, cough**
