New Nitro+ / Niθ / Urobuchi Gen game scooped in this month’s Tech Gian – in English?!

new nitroplus game tre donne crudeli new nitroplus game tre donne crudeli new nitroplus game tre donne crudeli new nitroplus game tre donne crudeli

I exclaimed, quoting the protagonist of Yume Miru Kusuri. Not only is the game the first to be designed by the illustrious Niθ since Jingai Makyou, not only is it written by veteran Nitro+ scenario writer Urobuchi Gen of Fate / Zero fame, but it’s been scooped in delicious, almost-comprehensible Engrish! Who could ask for anything more… aside from figures of the three main heroines in wedding-dress form, which given recent precedent we can expect sometime in the summer of 2009.
Based purely on the designs thus far, Ms Blue is my pick for the new Ignis and/or Al Ajif. We’ll see how things develop… they’re all moe in my book though, so it’s a win-win as far as I’m concerned. :3 We’ll be following this game most closely as it unfolds, oh yes we will… I do hope they change the name from “Tre donne crudeli” before all is said and done, though.

The characters look like they could have been designed by Ugetsu Hakua.. :)

Cant wait for this game. I am a NITRO+ fan so this is great news, especially if they are doing it in Engrish…Wish they translate their other titles like Jingai Makyou…Well, this is a good start…

My first impression was the same… I’m pretty sure Niθ was channeling Jo when he designed Ms Blue. Not that that’s a bad thing.
I’m afraid it’s just this article that’s in Engrish; the actual game will be very much in Japanese, alas.

    Mmmmm… big-boops…

Haha, why did the worst typo in the article have to be that…
By the way, in response to your question from awhile ago – the cover character of last month’s Tech Gian, as with all Tech Gian cover girls, is an original. They’re drawn by Nishiki Yoshimune (にしき義統, seems not to have a homepage) every month exclusively for the magazine.

    Fate/Zero Eroge lawl
    Nah, just kidding.

So does this mean that the game will be published in English, or feature an English language option? Kinda reminds me of Giniro – Silver – where they had an English language option. Totally broken and almost incomprehensible Engrish but still…
The Ms Blue, Ms Black, and Ms Blond gave me Reservoir Dogs vibes though…I wonder if a Ms Brown, Orange, Pink, and White will make an appearance in the game. :p

You know, that’s exactly what I was thinking as well. I wonder if they’re going for Reservoir Dogs in space? That could certainly involve three cruel ladies…
I don’t want to get my hopes up too much for an English language mode/edition, but I do wonder just why the article was entirely in pretty decent English.

    I should clarify that as far as I can tell the English here was purely a design gimmick for this one article (though one carried to a bizarre extreme), and does not reflect actual game content (language-wise, at least). Given the tight budgets of eroge I can’t imagine that Nitro+ would translate an entire game into English for nigh imperceptible gain. ;;

Nice character designs indeed. Ms. Blue is very nice but the other two are bit too old for my tastes.

Can anyone translate the configuration menu for me? Is there a way to turn off the pixellation over the naughty bits? English subtitles?

  12. Shingo February 25, 2008 at 8:29 am #

This ad was a one-shot gimmick for the game, it was never actually translated or released in English. I’m sorry if you bought it based on the hope that it would have English text… like most other Japanese eroge the game has no built-in English menu translations, subtitles, or de-censoring function.
